Dyslexic Hitman is fun, complex, and a total page turner. It is the best kind of mystery, from the subtle clues (be careful you don’t miss them), to the surprise ending. From the very first page, “If I Could, Would I?” captured my imagination and refused to let go. This gripping novel is a true page-turner, crafted with such skill and insight that I found myself unable to put it down. The author’s ability to delve deep into the minds of her characters is extraordinary, and her ability to tap into the complexities of the human psyche is brilliantly portrayed.

About The Author

I’m a dreamer–I always have been and always will be. I dream of all sorts of things, but my biggest was becoming an author. I had no idea how one would even begin to become an author and sell books. As things often do in my life, writing came to me in a most unusual way. Many years ago, I was having severe panic attacks, which turned into agoraphobia. I couldn’t leave my house for almost two years. I began to write. I never liked journaling, so I started writing books. I wrote about characters who were brave and courageous, with the ability to face any situation. In figuring out how they move around in the world, I somehow figured out how to enter back into mine.
I wrote myself out of my house, you might say. It took a few years before I had the courage to actually publish anything. Now, I am realizing and living my dream of being an author. I live in Oregon, close to my son and precious grandson. I enjoy long walks, outings with my friends, and spending time with my family. I love murder mystery TV shows and long conversations about how to navigate this crazy world we live in. I do my best to live every day with grace and gratitude.

Contract signed for my memoir
Hi everyone! I just wanted you to know I just signed a contract for my memoir, "Locked Behind an Open Door." It's the story of my struggle with severe panic disorder and agoraphobia (couldn't leave my home). When my son went missing, I had to face my demons and get out into the world of my fears to find him. It took me three years to find him. I fought my disorder throughout it all and not only did I find my son, I found myself as well. The publishers tell me it will be out in 2026, which I know is so far away, but I just had to share the good news with you.
